Routine Appointments with a Doctor

Consultations with doctors at Silsden GP are arranged by appointment and are available throughout the day. You may choose to see any doctor, but please try to see the same doctor during a single episode of illness. Routine appointments are usually for 10 minutes. Do make one appointment for each family member who needs to be seen. You may need a longer appointment if you have more than one problem - the receptionist will advise you. Do let the surgery know as soon as possible if you cannot keep an appointment.

Same Day Appointments with a Doctor

Some appointments are held each day to meet the needs of problems that have to be addressed promptly. Your appointment will be made with one of the doctors.

Triage

We are developing a system for triage for appointments and advice. When you contact the practice you may occasionally be offered a consultation over the phone or an appointment with one of our nurses.

Commuter Surgery

For patients who commute and cannot attend during normal opening hours, we now provide a commuter surgery for doctors' appointments on Monday and Wednesday evenings  for routine and review appointments.

Protected Learning Time

The Surgery closes all afternoon from 1pm on the second Thursday every month for staff training.
